DISCOVER MÁLAGA BY BICYCLE

This excursion begins in the Plaza de la

Marina from where we will cross Malaga’s historic centre beginning with Puerta del Mar. Along the way we will enjoy the different architec- tural styles of this beautiful city. We will see how contemporary design is harmoniously blended with buildings of gothic periods.

The historic Plaza de la Constitucion leads us to El Pasaja de Chinitas, home of famous Malaga writers and artists. From here, Calle Fresca leads us to Plaza del Obispo and Malaga’s magnificant cathedral where we will enjoy the beauty of it’s re- cently restored facades. Just a short way through Calle San Agustin and we’ll arrive at the Picasso museum and then on to La Plaza de la Merced where, in a building now housing the Picasso Foundation, this world famous Malagueno was born. Here we will rest a while with a refreshing drink and tapas before setting off to cycle past the splendid town hall of Malaga and on to the Alcazaba and it’s Roman amphitheatre. From here we return, crossing the park, enjoying the wide diversity of flora and fauna and on to the end of our trip back at our starting point.
